Here are a few pictures from Grant's game on Sunday.  It was a big day for the Junction City Jaguars as they defeated the Marist Dolphins!!

Action packed weekend!

JAGUARS FOOTBALL:

We had a BUSY weekend!  It started out with Grant's first football game.

The kids played GREAT!  The Junction City Jaguars scored 4 touchdowns and the Thurston Colts scored 1.  Grant scored 1 touchdown and he had 1 interception!  He was very excited!

GIRLS WEEKEND!

Shea and I immedialty left the football game and traveled to the coast for a girls get-away.

We spent the night with 5 Moms and 8 girls in a 3 bedroom condo.  We had such a blast!

We hit the beach first.  Here is Shea trying to stand up with the wind blasting her!

The Mom's planned a "dress up" night for the girls.  They got to have fancy hair, put on makeup and dress up in a fancy dress.  Here is Shea all fancied up!

We then took the girls to a fancy dinner.  Right out side of our restaurant they were having a 50's night in Florence.  The girls got to dance to a live band!

While we were at our girls weekend, Justin got to take Camden and Grant to the OSU Beaver home opener.  Sorry no pics of that since I took the camera with me!  :)

Finally the Beavers pulled off their first victory of the year!

New Camera

I got a new camera yesterday.  I figured if I was going to be doing this blogging thing, I better get a camera!  I'v been using my mother-in-laws!  I took the camera to Grant's football practice last night to see if I like it.  Here are a few shots.  I'm still undecided.  The shutter speed is slow and it takes a lot of time between taking pictures.

The first day of school!

It's the MOST wonderful time of the year!  For ME that is!

We headed off for our first day of school.  Everyone was so excited.  Shea started the 1st grade this year, and will finally be at school all day!  Grant is now a 3rd grader!  It's really hard to believe that he only has 2 years left in elementry school and then he'll move to middle school!  OK, I better not get ahead of myself, and just enjoy these next few years.  Poor Camden was really bummed about not getting to go to school.  I just keep telling him that he is "home schooled."  I don't think he's really buying it anymore!

As most of you know, I also care for my 2 Nieces, Sophia (6) and Meah (3, not pictured) and my Nephew Rocco (8).  I have them every morning at 6:30am (except Fridays) till 4:30pm!  With 6 kids, you can only imagine how busy they keep me!  But now that school has started, things should settle down!  YA-HOOOO  :)
