Star Wars

My friend Dawn just sent me this GREAT picture! Her son had his 7th
birthday and he wanted a Star Wars party.
Mom, Dad and Sister decided to dress for the part! I just think this
is so cute, I had to share it!
She did tell me that Dad and "Jo" had a hard time not laughing, but
the girls were totally into character!! :)
Thanks Dawn for sharing, and tell "Jo" HAPPY BIRTHDAY FOR US!

Pinehurst Day 3

Grant finished with an 85 today. He didn't think he played well at
all, si when he walked off the course and he found out it was an 85,
he was pretty happy! He thought for sure he was up in the 90's! So
in the end, Grant finished 87th in the world for the 2009
9yr old championships. He was hoping to break into the top 50, but
he's happy with his effort. Great job Grant !! We love you and are so
proud if you!
Once his round was over, Camden was dying to get out and hit the
driving range.
I think he's hoping to at in this one day! What gave we gotten
ourselves into?? :)

Pinehurst day 2

Wow!! What a MUCH better day! Grant shot an 82 and moved himself up
the leaderboard to 85th place! He was so excited! He had a few holes
he struggled on, but also missed a hole-in-one by less than a foot! A
very fun day on the golf course!
One more day left. He says he wants to "just have another really good
day!". Thanks for the prayers and support, we can feel them!!

Ear piercing!

Shea had a very exciting day today in pinehurst, NC! She got her ears
pierced!
We have been telling her that when she turned 8, she could get them
pierced. But, we though "what would be more special then doing it on
vacation in North Carolina!!"

She didn't cry or flinch, even on the 2nd ear! She said "it didn't
hurt at all." I almost cried though, She's growing up to fast!!

Pinehurst day 1

Well, today was a tough first day for Grant. He shot a 91 and is
currently in 105th place out of 143 kids. Not exactly what he (or Dad)
was hoping for. But, this is golf, and it's a tough game. He was
pretty bummed at first, but quickly got over it and can't wait to have
another shot at it tomorrow. We are pretty proud of him, and how he
handles the mental aspect of this game. He dragged us out to the
driving range tonight for some extra practice. Hopefully tomorrow will
be a better day for him. Please keep us in your prayers!
